Dayalbagh Engineering College, Dayalbagh, Agra established in 1950 as the first private Engineering College in India post-Independence, affiliated to Agra University, Agra, offering:B.Sc. (Engineering) degree in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering disciplines.

In 1973 Engineering College became DEI Engineering College, one of three constituent colleges of the Dayalbagh Educational Institute (DEI) founded by Most Revered Dr. M. B. Lal Sahab as its Founder Director and In 1981 Dayalbagh Educational Institute (Deemed University) was established and the erstwhile DEI Engineering College became the DEI Faculty of Engineering.

DEI Engineering Courses:-

B.Sc. (Engg.) in Electrical Engineering
The U.G. Programme in Electrical Engineering is broad based and offers specialization by way of electives and projects in the following fields: Machines, Power Systems, Electronics and Computer Science.

B.Sc. (Engg.) in Mechanical Engineering
The U.G. Programme in Mechanical Engineering is broad based and offers specialization by way of electives and projects in the following fields: Production Engg., Industrial Engg., Thermal Engg. and Design Engg.

M.Tech. in Engineering Systems
The Master's programme in Engineering Systems is designed to inculcate in the students the 'Systems' way of thinking

DEI University Agra Admission Req.:-

B.Sc. (Engineering): Intermediate from U.P. Board or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English with at least 60% marks in Mathematics as well as in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

There is no minimum age limit but the maximum age should not exceed 21 years on the first July of the year of admission
